Clinical evidence

The evidence.

Over four decades of published research on hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Oxygenaut chambers are built to the pressure specifications and session parameters used in the trials below.

Prospective · n=35

Hachmo et al. · Aging 2020

2.0 ATA · 90 min · 60 sessions

Telomere elongation in healthy aging adults

After 60 sessions of HBOT at 2.0 ATA, participants showed significant lengthening of telomeres and a reduction in senescent cell concentrations. Both changes are associated with reduced biological aging.

Randomized · n=74

Efrati et al. · PLOS ONE 2015

2.0 ATA · 90 min · 40 sessions

Cognitive improvement in post-stroke patients

HBOT produced significant improvements in memory, attention, information processing speed, and executive function in chronic post-stroke patients — outcomes that did not emerge from control-arm rehabilitation alone.

Randomized controlled · n=56

Boussi-Gross et al. · PLOS ONE 2013

1.5 ATA · 60 min · 40 sessions

Cognitive and symptomatic recovery in TBI

Veterans with chronic mild TBI and persistent post-concussive syndrome showed significant cognitive improvement and quality-of-life gains after 40 HBOT sessions at 1.5 ATA compared with sham controls.

Double-blind · n=26

Thom et al. · American Journal of Physiology 2006

2.0 ATA · 90 min · 20 sessions

Stem cell mobilization via VEGF-A pathway

HBOT at 2.0 ATA tripled circulating CD34+ stem and progenitor cell counts compared to baseline — an effect mediated by hyperoxia-induced nitric oxide synthase and VEGF-A upregulation.

These summaries reference peer-reviewed publications. Oxygenaut chambers are not FDA-cleared medical devices for the treatment of any disease. Individual results will vary. Consult your physician before beginning any HBOT protocol.

How it works

From order to first session.

01

Choose your model

Select based on your target pressure, available space, and clinical goals. Our sales team can walk you through the decision — no pressure (so to speak).

02

Place your order

Full payment or financing via Affirm and equipment leasing. Clinical model orders include a site assessment call to confirm electrical and space requirements.

03

Delivery in 6–10 weeks

White-glove shipping, contiguous US. One and Pro models are self-installed with a 30-minute video onboarding call. Clinical models include on-site installation by a certified technician.

04

Start your protocol

Your chamber arrives pre-configured. Companion app tracks session count, duration, and pressure logs. Most users report subjective changes within 5–10 sessions.

Reviews

What owners say.

"I track everything — HRV, sleep stages, blood panels. The Pro chamber moved my post-sleep recovery scores more than anything else I've tried in two years of biohacking. By week three, my Oura data looked like a different person."

Marcus T.
Austin, TX · Oxygenaut Pro · 14 weeks

"11 NFL seasons. Knees, shoulder, the works. Recovery that used to take four days now takes two. My body feels like it did at 33. The science is real — this isn't spa equipment."

Derrick W.
Dallas, TX · Oxygenaut Clinical · 6 months

"I was skeptical. Then I read Hachmo 2020. Then I ran a three-week trial at a clinic. Then I bought the Clinical model. At 2.0 ATA, the cognitive clarity is real. I now recommend it to patients in appropriate contexts."

FAQ

Common
questions.

Everything you need to know before purchasing. Anything not covered here, email us directly.

hello@oxygenaut.com
Yes, when used within manufacturer specifications. Soft-shell chambers operate at 1.3–1.5 ATA — pressures that are well-tolerated without clinical supervision. Hard-shell 2.0 ATA chambers require an initial consultation and safety briefing, which we facilitate via our certified HBOT advisors. All Oxygenaut chambers include automatic pressure relief valves, oxygen concentration monitors, and emergency depressurization. We recommend starting with a healthcare provider familiar with HBOT.
